The story
Meet Mia
Thank you for standing with our small team. Together with our partners, we are committed to protecting young girls at risk of exploitation. Our mission is to provide safe employment, restore dignity through meaningful work, and open doors to brighter opportunities — all while sharing God’s love through intentional discipleship.
Mia is the first young girl we welcomed into our programme this year. She lives with her grandmother after her mother left to work in another city. At just 14, Mia spent her evenings on the streets selling fried bananas after school, often earning only £1 per day — just enough to buy fruit for her younger sisters.
Since moving to our programme, Mia has learned new life skills such as making hand-crafted items, and she has so much potential. Now, Mia has received dental care for the first time, her school performance is improving, and she has been introduced to the stories of Scripture. She has learned to pray, witnessed God’s care in her daily life, and her overall well-being has significantly strengthened. She has been a tremendous blessing to our team, and we are excited to see how God will continue to work in her life.
Thank you for praying for the beautiful girls we support and for wisdom to journey with them in a culturally appropriate way. They enrich our lives deeply, and it is our joy and honour to watch them grow, heal, and flourish.
